STM Prepares for East Bay Winternationals!
The first race for Scott Thiel Motorsports in 2013 will be the "King of the 360's" event at the East Bay Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida!
Small talk started one day about having a car ready to go fairly quick as the team had race their last event of 2012 at the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, AR with a fresh motor and only a few race old car. They did some research and figured out that they had all the proper tires for the event and only had to do some minor work to get the car back in to race ready form.
A few days passed by and the conversation was brought back up at a team shop night. The car owners, Scott and Debbie Thiel, said that they would agree to go to the East Bay Winternationals and work at the shop has not stopped since then.
This will be another new experience for the STM team but will be nice to get the 2013 racing season under way very soon!
