Top 10 for Thiel at PDTR

Saturday September 18th was the final night of racing at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, WI. The STM crew pulled in with better hopes than the previous week and began to prepare the car for racing action. Scotty started on the outside front row of the heat race and at the green took the lead going into turn one. Thiel never looked back and took the checkered flag by nearly a half of a lap. The crew was very happy with the performance in the heat race and started to prepare the car for the nights 27 lap A-man event. Scotty started again on the outside front row of the A-Main event and knew it was going to be tough to move forward on the dry slick race track. At the green, Scotty tried to jump up to the cushion but it was just way to high on the race track and lost a position. Thiel re-gained his lost ground and settled in the third position for several laps. On a restart, Scotty had to start on the outside row and struggled to get back down to the bottom groove and lost a few spots in the mishap. He settled back in the 6th spot and stayed there for the remaining laps of the race.

It was another top 10 finish for Thiel and he also grabbed the 11th place points for the 2010 PDTR season.
